Will Insurance Cover
the Cost of Veneers?

/

No. Unfortunately, veneers are considered strictly cosmetic, so insurance does not cover the cost. However, our Charlotte practice offers CareCredit® financing to help you receive treatment without breaking your budget. Contact us to learn more about our financing options.

What Affects the Cost of Veneers? Customized Treatment Creates Varied Pricing

Because all of our dental veneer treatments are customized to the individual, pricing varies from patient to patient. Your total cost of treatment depends on several factors.

Number of Veneers

Veneers are priced per tooth. Your treatment cost will increase if you need multiple restorations to achieve your desired look.

Type of Veneer Material

Porcelain veneers are typically more expensive than other materials because they are durable, stain-resistant, and long-lasting.

Preparatory Work

Your oral health and the condition of your natural teeth can affect your overall cost. If preparatory work needs to be done first, the price of treatment will increase.

Are Veneers Worth the Price? Most Patients Say Yes!

Multiple studies have been performed over the years to determine the patient satisfaction rate of veneers. These studies have found that 80-100 percent of patients are satisfied after veneer treatment. Besides patients loving their new smiles, the quality and longevity of porcelain veneers make them worth their price tag.

Do Veneers Ruin Your Teeth?

Preparation

Dr. Pirtle will start making room for your new porcelain restorations by removing a portion of your natural tooth's enamel.

Impressions

Once the enamel has been removed, he will take impressions of your teeth. You and Dr. Pirtle will also determine your desired shade and shape of the veneer to send to our lab for fabrication.

Fabrication

Your impressions will be sent to a trusted lab so they can fabricate your new porcelain veneers. You may be fitted with temporary veneers while you wait.

Second Visit

Once your veneers have been created, you will return to our Charlotte, NC, practice for placement.

Check Fit

Dr. Pirtle will first ensure the fit and look of the veneers will create your desired aesthetic. We want to ensure you are completely satisfied with your results.

Placement

Dr. Pirtle will apply a bonding agent to your teeth and secure your new porcelain restorations in place.

Smile

There is no downtime following the procedure. Once you leave our office after your second appointment, you can enjoy a beautiful, functional smile.

You Can Combine Treatments To Dramatically Enhance Your Results

Many patients combine veneers with other dentistry treatments to completely transform their smile.

Teeth Whitening

Veneers are color matched to blend in with your surrounding teeth. If you are unhappy with the color of your natural teeth, teeth whitening can be performed before veneer placement to enhance the brightness of every tooth.

Invisalign

Invisalign can address mild to moderate misalignment issues that veneers may not be able to handle alone. Straighten your smile with our Invisalign clear aligners on their own or before veneer placement to give you a beautifully aligned grin.

Smile Makeover

When you have multiple cosmetic flaws that veneers alone cannot address, a smile makeover may be for you. These customized plans can tackle any aesthetic issue, like moderate misalignments, stains, chips, and more.
