Amber Director of Hygiene
Amber has been practicing dental hygiene since 2002. Originally from WV, she obtained her hygiene degree from WVU Institute of Technology and an MBA from Marshall University.
She enjoys periodontal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, ZOOM in-office whitening procedures, Invisalign cases, and general hygiene care. Amber’s focus is striving to be exceptionally thorough with her work while creating a positive and calming yet fun atmosphere for her patients. She is not only knowledgeable in periodontal therapy, but also in many areas of comprehensive dentistry including implant therapy. She enjoys conversating and making patients feel at home while in her chair.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, travelling, watching sports, and being outdoors with her husband, son, and two French bulldogs. Family and friends are very high on her list, and she loves treating patients the same way.
Amanda Office Administrator
Amanda joined Advanced Dentistry in August 2009. She was raised in High Point, NC and later moved to Charlotte after graduating from Appalachian State University. Amanda earned a degree in Health Care Management.
Learning about dentistry has been very enjoyable for Amanda. She is very personable and pays great attention to detail which helps the process of patient-office interactions. She takes pride in assisting patients with their every need and helping them feel at ease throughout their patient experience.
Amanda resides nearby in South Carolina, with her husband, Chris, two sons, and dog. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
Tammy Spence Dental Assistant II
Tammy Spence is a Dental Assistant II with 30 years of experience. A 1994 graduate of Central Piedmont Community College’s Dental Assisting program, she also received expanded function training in Colorado, where she lived for 15 years. She enjoys cosmetic restorations, crown and bridge, and has experience in general dentistry, endodontics, implants, Invisalign, and more.
She is passionate about helping patients feel at ease in the dental chair and values learning new techniques and procedures. Outside the office, Tammy enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband, their three children, and her granddaughter. Her Christian faith plays a central role in her life, including service through mission trips and church involvement.
Heather Office Administrator
Heather joined Precision Dental Partners in March 2025. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, she moved to Charlotte at the age of five. Having grown up in Union County, Heather feels a strong connection to the community served by Precision Dental Partners.
Before beginning her career in dentistry, Heather worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist for seven years. After transitioning to dentistry, she quickly realized the meaningful impact she could make by assisting patients with their questions and being the first friendly face they see when they walk into the office.
Heather currently lives in Union County with her husband, two children, and their rescue dog. In her spare time, you’ll often find her on a sports field cheering on her kids or out enjoying a family camping trip.
Lilly Certified Dental Assistant
Lilly is a graduate of North Carolina Central Piedmont Community College and achieved her degree as a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant II in 2021. She spent time working in a variety of dental fields to advance her skills and knowledge before finding her home office with Precision Dental Partners in 2023.
Lilly is compassionate and personable. Her focus is to provide a comfortable environment for patients to express their dental concerns and help them obtain the confident smile they deserve. She has experience and training in general, endodontic, and oral surgery as well as sedation and nitrous oxide.
Aside from dentistry being her main career, Lilly is also a cosmetologist and still enjoys working part-time in the industry. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, traveling and being outdoors, and competing in billiards.
